The Club's First Training Session

This is 99268C TEAM NOVA. Like our name, “nova,” or “bright star,” we wanted 99268C to shine as a debut team—and we did! It all started in grade 10, when I realized there was a lack of robotics engagement in the Academy, so I decided to initiate it. I gathered two teammates and founded the first-ever robotics club in the Academy dedicated to preparing members for VEX competitions. We started from scratch—at first, there was no training ground for us, so the club’s weekly meetings had to take place in common classrooms. Then, after multiple rounds of discussions with school authorities, we managed to secure a permanent activity room for our club. I am proud to have left a legacy for the club’s next generation as its president.
